NEW PATRON

We are delighted to welcome Richard Callander as our new Patron. Richard is a keen gardener and a loyal supporter of the Society.

The March meeting speakers David Middleton & Stuart Lyndsey transported us all to the wonders of Singapore Botanic Gardens where they had both worked for many years. We all enjoyed the photographs of this beautiful tropical gem on a winter's evening!

In April we made our way to Gifford to take part in the Annual Inter Society Quiz. Six teams took part. West Linton took top place with just two points ahead putting our team into 2nd place this year. We had to hand over the shiny silver platter which had borne our Society's name for the past two years! However, it is great to see a new name on the trophy for the first time so well done West Linton and well done to our team for a valiant effort.

Our Annual Plant Sale & Coffee Morning will take place on Saturday 9th May at the Callander Pavilion - doors open at 10 am.
