NEW PATRON

We are delighted to welcome Richard Callander as our new Patron. Richard is a keen gardener and a loyal supporter of the Society.

Details can be found under the Events section of the website. The February & March meetings will be held in The Community Hall on the Main Street in Pathhead whilst the Callander Pavilion is undergoing refurbishment.​​​

Annual Lunch - this was held on 20th November at the Stair Arms Hotel and the change from a dinner to a lunch proved popular with over 25 attending for a most enjoyable get together

January Speaker

A most interesting talk about the Musselburgh Lagoons by one of the East Lothian Rangers explaining how a former industrial waste site has been transformed into a nature reserve and leisure facility that is free for everyone and well worth a visit.  

​​

The February speaker is Dr Sally Gouldstone from Seilich Botanicals who manages a wildflower meadow at Rosemains where she and her team create sustainable skin products and artisan tea that has just won an award. 

​
