Details can be found under the Events section of the website. The February & March meetings will be held in The Lounge of the Community Hall on the Main Street in Pathhead whilst the Callander Pavilion is undergoing refurbishment.

ANNUAL FLOWER SHOW - Saturday 30th August

This year's Show was very well attended with lots of good quality entries in Classes for flowers, vegetables, handicrafts, cookery and children's exhibits. The Show was opened by Arlene Stuart, radio & TV Broadcaster, who has strong connections to the local area. Arlene also presented the prizes and contributed greatly to the success of the day. A huge THANK YOU to all those who helped set up and clear up, provide lunch for the judges and volunteers and generally make it happen! See Gallery

A.G.M.

The Society's A.G.M. was held on 11th November when we welcomed Elizabeth Austin as the new Treasurer. Brian Christie was thanked for his long service in this role and presented with a gift token to mark his 'retirement'.

After the business of the A.G..M was concluded we enjoyed an interesting talk by local Botanist, Mark Robertson explaining the way plants are named and some of the amazing new research into plant ancestry, leading to those confusing new names for us to try to get to grips with!
